Imperial Yalta

Duration: 4.5 hours
Walking: moderate

Take a drive to Massandra to visit the delightful Loire-style Palace of Alexander III, the Russian Imperial family’s summer house amid the marvelous surrounding woods.

Then visit Livadia Palace, the favourite summer residence of the last Russian Tsar, Nicholas II and the venue of the Yalta Conference in 1945. See the Great White Hall, where the fate of post-war Europe was decided in 1945.

Proceed to the Italian courtyard inside the palace for Russian tea and pie, while enjoying a live folklore performance. Stroll around the souvenir shops on the ground floor of the palace, where an abundant choice of souvenirs and local crafts is offered.

Another option of this tour is the wine tasting ceremony instead of the Russian meal of tea and pie. The wine tasting takes place in the Italian Courtyard; guests will be offered to taste the favorite wine of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II - Red Port Livadia.
