Your air-conditioned motor coach will take you to Prymorsky Boulevard. Take pictures of the new Monument to Catherine the Great. Walk to a statue of the Duc de Richelieu in a Roman Toga and learn about the foundation of Odessa and history of Potemkin Steps. Built in 1837, Potemkin Steps are the best place to view the busy harbors and the bay. The famous monument to Duke de Richelieu overlooks steps of 142m length. Looking down from the top, the steps themselves become invisible, only the landings can be seen. At the bottom of the steps is the city's brand new passenger ship terminal and convention center.

Proceed to Odessa Opera House. After the Potemkin Stairs, it is the most famous edifice in Odessa. Odessa residents boast that the Odessa Opera Theater is the second best opera theater in the world, next to the Vienna State Opera in Vienna. Take pictures of the impressive building of the world-known theater designed by Viennese architects Felner & Gelmer in the 1880s in the Habsburg Baroque of the day, with a number of Italian Renaissance features. Drive to Arcadia area. En-route view the city's 19th century architecture, cathedrals, learn about modern development of Odessa.

After visiting Arkadia area drive along the French Boulevard to Shevchenko Park. View the Unknown Sailor Memorial and the eternal flame to those who fell, defending Odessa - the hero-city. Continue to Cathedral Square where you can take pictures of the biggest Odessa Church – Preobrazhensky Cathedral and browse in the souvenirs shopping area.
