Your tour begins with a drive to Prymorsky Boulevard. Take pictures of the new Monument to Catherine the Great. Walk to the statue of Duke of Richelieu, one of Odessa's founders. The bronze statue was first erected in 1828 by the St. Petersburg sculptor I. Martos and architect A. Melnikov. The Statue is located just before the Potemkin Steps, one of the most famous attractions in Odessa. Learn about the foundation of Odessa and history of Potemkin Steps.

Then walk along the Prymorsky Boulevard. At the eastern part there you will see a Pushkin statue and a British Tiger Gun, captured in 1854 during the Crimean campaign. Several dozen meters from the City Hall is the impressive building of the world-known Opera & Ballet Theater designed by Viennese architects Felner & Gelmer. After the Potemkin Stairs, it is the most famous edifice in Odessa.

Odessa residents boast that the Odessa Opera Theater is the second best opera theater in the world, next to the Vienna State Opera in Vienna. Take pictures of the recently restored Opera House. Continue to the main temple of Odessa and Kherson Diocese - Uspensky Cathedral. From the cathedral your motor coach makes its way along Odessa streets to the Palace of Count Pototsky, housing Odessa Fine Arts Museum.
